Changes:

  1. The 1985 graph has been replaced with a chart ranging from $100,000 to $50,000.000 (Appendix A). Fees have increased approximately 10% plus.
  2. Building type groups have been updated and expanded (Appendix B).
  3. The language in 1.5.18 NMAC has been updated and includes additional allowable negotiations for reimbursable expenses among other modifications.

AIA New Mexico was able to negotiate with the State General Services Division in large part due to the hard work and research that began in 2021, including with: the AIA Small Firm Exchange, statewide representation from small and large firms, Government Affairs, New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies, the New Mexico Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, and AIA New Mexico Chapter Leadership.

Join us on one of the following days/times to hear more about the specific changes and process. [V – I’ll leave it to you to coordinate how we best implement. Teams? Zoom  – happy to do it through my zoom then I can control it.]
